Not going to happen. Pavano and Wright will be bust's in Ny. JMO
Q: How will Hudson do next season? A: He'll suck. He'll bust. JMO
That is your opinion. Everyone has 1. Hudson is a proven pitcher and Wright well he is anything but. He had a great year but look at others who have had great years with the braves because of there pitching coach. Dont get your panties in a wad. I just stated an opinion as I pointed out when I wrote JMO

If it's just your opinion, then why do you start off with "Not going to happen" as if you know what will happen. At the very least, ONE reason to back up your comment would make some sense.
An analogy to your comment:
Q: How will Hudson do next season? A: He'll suck. He'll bust. JMO
Blankman, I'm on your side on this comment.
Anyway, do you think Atlanta is considered a big market team with high pressure?
Not when the team can't even sell out for playoff games
I honestly don't know much about Wright but pitching for Atlanta in the playoffs is certainly more pressure packed than pitching for the average team in baseball.
riverrat wrote:really isnt this just another piece of crap out of LA? this deal has been worked on it seems like forever. 3 teams then 4 teams involved then back to 3. how can LA after all this time put an offer on the table then back-out at the last minute? BUSH LEAGUE GM and management. serves 'em right if nobody ever deals with those fools again.
DePodesta said he all the long that the deal was not finalizedyet. he wanted to make sure he could help his team by making the trade and he wanted to see if by being party to this trade he make another trade or have money to sign a free agent he would do it. If not then he wasn't going to be part of it. He could not improve his team so he chose not to be part of the deal.

on another subect.
The yankees threw money at two guys who have each had one good year in the national league in their contract year. they will be facing tougher lineups in the AL and pitching under much more pessure in NYC. they will not repeat their 2004 years, at least not in a Yankee uniform.
