Playing Marte in the OF would also give us a chance to keep Chipper @ 3rd. BTW, Chipper has said he would alter his contract so the Braves can sign Tim Hudson to a longterm-deal.

I am glad we have hudson but we really need to sign him to a longterm deal i mean the idea of him coming in and making a big splash really soon is nice to think of but in Atlanta for right now he is going to be looked passed as Smoltz is making his way back to the starting position. I hope we sign him long term so he dont look somewhere else where he could have more fame and maybe even more money.
