Antonio Alfonseca update

Postby eftda » Fri Dec 17, 2004 4:01 pm

www.rototiems.com wrote:The Marlins have withdrawn their two-year, $4.75 million offer to Antonio Alfonseca (P) Fla because doctors found "a significant herniation" to a disk in the pitcher's lower back, according to the Miami Herald. They came back with a one-year offer, which he is contemplating.

Big news... he could go to a new team or stay with the Marlins till the Trading deadline ;-D

I don't know if this is really big news for a reliever that needs surgery again.

Wait, can you fail a physical for having too many fingers? :-D :-D

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

In my mind, Antonio Alfonseca is washed up. The onlu big news involving him would be if he was traded for a big name.
