hey someone proposed to me manny ramirez for albert pujols. i havent thought too much about it, but manny is definetly a top rbi guy if he can stay healthy. it will be pujols second year. i doubt he can play as well as he did last season,but we'll see. what are your opinions on this trade? lemme know-

Interesting indeed...

Manny will certainly put up better numbers than Pujols, although I don't expect too much of a sophomore slump from Albert, considering how consistent he looked last year. If you have another decent option at 3b (or you have free agents available), go ahead and make this trade. If you'll be stuck with someone atrocious at the hot corner, I wouldn't do this, although if the other team throws in a 3b (perhaps with you adding a lesser of), it could work.

Sounds like a golden opportunity for you!

Hehe, unfortunately the Cafe doesn't go back that far. I was looking for something truly horendous, but this was the best I could find. If it didn't reference this being Ajols' "2nd year", I probably woulda duped some people. :-D
