i am not a big giles fan since he got into Petco park.
Plus he is obviously roided up (look at his neck)
I see his numbers declining and i can also see him having problem staying healthy

I would agree that his numbers will be more like the past two season than his great seasons with the Pirates. He is no longer in the same breath as Abreu.

As a 2004 Giles owner, I didn't think that he was that much of a dissapointment. In my league's point system he finished almost exactly where he did in 2003. But he probably is done being a second tier fantasy OF.
I would take advantage of the cloud of dissapointment around his name and snatch him up as a #3 OF in mixed leagues and #2 in NL-only. Chances are he will find a way to duplicate his 2004 numbers or better them. I do not see a reason for his game to decline again.

his days of 35+ homers have past. will still give good production--.290, 25, 95 or thereabouts--but not someone you are going to build your outfield around.

He did take big hits in the OBP, SLG and OPS last year and his drop in BB and increase in K's have me considering trying to move him in a package deal soon.
Hey Yanksareback2 I have an 18 and a half inch neck, does that mean I take 'roids?
