With the Rockies team looking like its going to be real awful again, how does everyone think Helton will do numbers wise. Obviously playing in Coors is always good for hitters, but now that it looks like hes going to have no protection, how will this affect him? Who is going to protect him? Or will he constantly be pitched around?

Isn't Preston Wilson still there? He's decent protection if he can stay healthy.

What is his contract like? More than what Sexson and Delgado will get?

Yanks should pick him up if they do that.

Yanks would pick him up if they do that. Or else the Mets. Two high payroll teams both looking for a 1B. If Delgado wants $16M per, Helton's $16.6M per would be a much better gamble.

I'm sure there would be more than a couple teams interested if that happens.
What do you guys think his stats would look like outside of Coors field?
