i would assume thats the way stl is leaning right now.
and yeah i think thats a bit much. edgar should easily get around 100 rbi if he is batting 6th or so but just about any .280 hitter would have a decent shot at that if he were batting 6th in that lineup.
So much for being comfortable where you play. The salary won't help the Cards with Cabrera as he'll base what he wants off this deal. If $32/4 years is what they offered Renteria, they better expect Cabrera will want at least that.
