Ummmm, Catchers...

Has anyone else noticed that like 6 of the top 8 catchers are all from the AL?

Lopez
I-Rod
Posada
Piazza
Varitek
V-Mart
Kendall
LoDuca

Other than Piazza, there is no real talent in the NL for catchers. :-?

Isn't LoDuca in the NL? (Florida)?

Edit: Oops, I see you said 6-of-8. Sorry I misread the first time. Then your point is taken. By the way, I had Piazza last season and he absolutely KILLED me. I'm going to try hard to go a different direction at catcher in 05.

In fantasy defense is worthless. I believe they were talking about offensive catchers.

I guess if you guys count caught stealing throw outs and blocked balls then he'd be a great pick up

What about Johnny Estrada. Not much power, but a nice average.
Let's go Mets!

there is 3 or 4 good catchers in the NL....lo duca, estrada, piazza,,,with the best ones being in the AL, but as long as you are not playing NL only then u should be fine getting a catcher for your team....... but if you are playing NL only then u might better move estrada and lo duca up on your draft lists......

Any thoughts on Chris Snyder from Az.? He hit 5 taters in 96 ABs with the snakes last season and hit .301 w/ 15 more jacks in AA.
