Edit: Oops, I see you said 6-of-8. Sorry I misread the first time. Then your point is taken. By the way, I had Piazza last season and he absolutely KILLED me. I'm going to try hard to go a different direction at catcher in 05.
ok but what about matheny hes the best defensive catcher in the majors ( and dont even say pudge he just has the arm) matheny might not have the bat but defense is just important. and hes in NL

In fantasy defense is worthless. I believe they were talking about offensive catchers.

I guess if you guys count caught stealing throw outs and blocked balls then he'd be a great pick up

there is 3 or 4 good catchers in the NL....lo duca, estrada, piazza,,,with the best ones being in the AL, but as long as you are not playing NL only then u should be fine getting a catcher for your team....... but if you are playing NL only then u might better move estrada and lo duca up on your draft lists......
