how funny, I just had this same discussion with somebody else ..
some of us do play NL only ball you know .. ?
True. I play in a NL only league (among others) and almost every Rockies starting position player will be taken. Closser could be a nice pick-up at C as well as Miles and Gonzalez.

With the Rockies looking like they are going to be terrible, how does that affect Helton's value. What kind of numbers does everyone think he will put up? Especially if they trade Preston Wilson, who's going to protect Helton?

Good question, though I doubt they find someone willing to take Wilson's contract. The Rox would trade Helton is if they could.

On the rare occasion that the Rox win a tight one, will Chin-hui Tsao be closing them out?

Won't matter...in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues, I would think the Rox closer is one better left to someone elses misfortune of owning ala Shawn Chacon. The damage done for the few saves achieved is simply not worth it, IMO.

Actually, the only player I like on the entire Rox squad is Helton. The rest of them with the possible exception of Preston Wilson are still garbage.
