Comiskey was the best hitter's park in the AL while Miller was a pitcher's park on par with the infamous Pro Player. In terms of ballpark factor effect, it is like going from Coors to Wrigley. Combined with the fewer run production opportunities, this makes me one very depressed Carlos Lee owner.

A year after cleaning up in the Richie Sexson trade, you just got a premiere OF (Carlos Lee) for Scott Podsednik (!), and probably the best pitching prospect in the Braves organization (Capellan). Futhermore, you have one of the best farm systems in the Majors.

That truly is incredible. That Sexson deal was probably one of the biggest swindles of the last decade, and now trading a very overrated Pods for a semi-stud OF like Lee... I can see why MIL fans are happy these days.
