They kinda did last night. This cute chick (Snow) answered gamma rays and the champ answered with something else and they credited her later on and didn't take his $$ away.

But I guess you can't expect Trebek to be the arbitor. On the other hand, if you had Ken Jennings as host... I'd trust him...
