3 years 21 mil. Got this off the Tribe fan board. Clement was the Tribe's #1 target, Lieber #2, Wright #3. Oh its fun being a Tribe fan. Nobody wants to play here because we won't pay and its Cleveland. Oh well there is talk the Tribe may sign Loaiza, Yippee!!!

i read clement would be willing to sign with the indians because it was near his hometown or sth.

i'd rather see him with the indians than the angels. :-b

Man I hope not, the Angels are too good as it is. Thats a nice deal too. If he signs for that then he signs for less than or equal money to Benson, Radke, Lieber, and Pavano and I think that Clement is MUCH (!!!) better than any of them (Radke is somewhat close though). Great sign by Anaheim if this happens.

For 7 mil a year makes me wonder...where are the Rangers in all this :-?

...oh yeah that right trying to sign Delgado!!! :-o

Completely agree. If that contract Clement is a bargain compared to Wright, Benson, and Leiber.

With all the ridiculous contracts for SP's so far that is an incredible deal. 8-o

I wish STL could have gotten him for that price. :-?

Screw that the Cards already got a steal...Matt Morris for 2.5 million. You only deserve one good deal per offseason :-)

ESPN Insider is saying the Sox are going after Clement hard now that it seems Pedro will sign with the Mets. They could end up offering 8-9 million a year, so this isn't a done deal by any means.
