Lets make this realistic guys, heres mine:

Beltran goes to the Yankees
Milton does NOT go to the Yankees
Wright does NOT go to the Yankees
Vaz stays a Yankee
RJ goes to the Yankees
Dunn goes to the Indians
Beltre goes to the red Sox, they overpay, and he busts.
Zito gets signed long term.
If Hudson gets dealt, A's get power hitting for him.
Klesko goes to the Yankees
Clement or Odalis go to the Yankees
A's, Yankees, Indians or padres get Big Tex.
Reyes does NOT get dealt.
Cubs get a closer, ANY closer.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Hudson to the Dodgers
Clement to the Dodgers
Bonds to hell.

That's all.

The MLB contracts all the teams down to just the Yankees and Red Sox since that is the only ones people care about. If that doesn't happen then:

Beltre signs with the Rockies.
Beltran signs with the Orioles.
Perez signs with the Giants.
Clement signs with the Mariners.
Alou signs with the Royals.
Delgado signs with the Mets.
Sexson resigns with the D-Backs.
Varitek signs with the Astros.

Odalis Perez, Derek Lowe, and Matt Clement to the Rangers.

HAHA back to reality....I would be more than happy if they signed one of them, but they won't. At this point I will satisfied if they just sign ONE quality starter.

1. The Green Monster falls over during a rainstorm.

2. The Mets actually make a good accqusition. (Hey, I'm sympathetic)

3. Someone reminds the D'Backs that they are the D'Backs and no Troy Glaus or Russ Ortiz is going to persuade RJ to stay.

4. Boomer Wells takes the mound for the BoSox in a crucial situation and leaves after one inning complaining that his back hurts...(sound familiar Yankee fans?)

5. Someone reminds Steinbrenner and Cashman that Jaret Wright and Eric Milton suck.

6. Photographs and a video tape of Barry Bonds taking 'roids, as well as a letter signed by Barry that states he's a cheating bastard are mailed to every clown that doubts he's on roids.

7. The Nationals sign me.

Hudson to the Cards -- still not really sure where they fit in though :-?
Renteria comes back for $8-$9mill/year for 5 years
Clement to the Cards -- if Hudson doesn't go
Beltran stays in Houston
Beltre stays in LA so we can accurately compare '04 to '05
RJ stays in the desert

That's all I can think of for now, I'm sure there are lots more.

This is funny because we know that it isn't realistic. Wright is already a Yankee. Beltre isn't even considered by the Red Sox. Hudson is likely going for pitching. Clement and Odalis aren't even on Cashman's radar....

Anyway, I hope the Sox:

Trade BH Kim, but not for Payton. Get another bullpen arm for him, if possible.

Sign Steven Kline
Resign Tek, Pedro.
Sign Renteria or Cabrera.

That's all. I hope the Yankees vastly, vastly overpay for Beltran.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

Yankees trade a talented young player to the Rangers again just because he stunk in the playoffs. Let's make it A-Rod. They get a 4th-round draft pick in return. They trade their 4th-round draft pick and $39m to the Cubs to move up to the 1st round. The Yankees draft a guy who decides instead to play football.

The Cubs draft some kid with their 4th round pick from the Yankees named Rabe Buth who hits the game-winning double in Game 7 of the World Series. By this point, the Red Sox have traded David Wells to the Cubs. They get Mark Prior and Kerry Wood and Corey Patterson and Carlos Zambrano and Matt Clement (who re-signed with the Cubs by this point). (Hey! It's Christmas, okay?) David Wells wins game 7 of the World Series against the Yankees in relief as the Yankees blow a 14-run lead. Wells is wearing the Bambino's cap when he does it. People in the Bronx begin to start mumbling about Curses. Nomar scores the winning run.

Yankees get angry and sign Randy Johnson to a 7-year, $148m deal during November 2005. They fire Vazquez to make room for him. The Red Sox sign Vazquez, who leads them to 4 World Series rings during the 4 years of Varitek's new contract. Pedro becomes the new closer and closes out Game 7 in each of the Series wins.

Happy holidays everyone.
