Several newspapers, including the LA Times, are reporting that the A's and Dodgers have worked out a deal where Tim Hudson will go to LA for Edwin Jackson and Antonio Perez.

this would be a good move for the dodgers trade away an unproven prospect for a bonfied ace that has proven himself. Also with the jeff kent sigining the dodgers didnt lose much .

I dont like the deal for the Dodgers. Jaskson was a great prospect and Hudson is only signed for 1 more year i believe. Seems like they gave up alot.
That's what I was thinking too.

Maybe they've already negotiated an extension with him or that's part of the deal, but that doesn't make much sense to give up their best pitching prospect and a 2B for Hudson.

Maybe the Dodgers feel they can sign Hudson to a long term deal.

Hudson has said he'd be willing to consider one if it was done before the start of Spring Training
Also, as far as we fantasy players are concerned, Hudson should have more value than he did before

Not only does he stay in one of the most pitcher-friendly stadiums, he gets to see a pitcher every nine batters. This should enable him to lower his ERA, WHIP by 10-15% (look at what the Rocketdid this past year)

Great trade by LA assuming they can give Huddy a contract extension. Hudson will thrive in the NL and in Dodger Stadium.
