A Phil Collins led Genesis has to be the absolute worst mainstream band Ive ever heard - bar none. Just hearing his name send shivers down my spine.

I dont agree with Metallica selling out. Eminem is the biggest sellout of all time. Kid Rock can not really be considered a sellout since he started out that way.

How is Eminem a sellout? He's been making the exact same kind of music his whole career. Plus, he still does an album with the hometown boys from D-12 once in a while even though they probably lose a ton of money doing it. And he's the biggest sellout of all time 8-o

Why, because millions of people buy his music? Is this the definition of a sellout now - success?

I am not a rap fan or anything like that...but if I have the story right he was a big Underground rapper that used give people tons of crap for going to big record deals....guess everyone has their price.

Early Genesis wasn't bad. The last album I liked was "Trick of the tail" which actually featured Phil Collins on vocals, but it was a few years before he started his schlock music. :-P

I don't know of Eminem giving people crap for signing with record labels :-?

Also, he started his own record label to help people like him - Shady Records. Far from a sellout if you ask me... of course, he's to blame for fools like 50 Cent and G-Unit getting record contracts, so he's not completely innocent :-D
