WFAN reporting that Jaret Wright is only 50/50 as to whether he's going to pass his physical.
Wow...didn't see this coming. I don't like the Wright signing and now maybe there's a bigger reason to not sign him...

The Yankees should hope that Wright fails the physical, then go out and sign Clement or Odalis like you said. Preferabley Odalis since he's a lefty. Maybe they can sign both instead of the god-awful Wright-Milton duo.

The fascination with Milton is one I just do not understand. What is it in the guy that makes him an good option iin Cashman's mind? His near 5 ERA? Crummy lefties are plentiful...he could have let Heredia start.

Many feel Odalis Perez will get rocked outside on LA and in the AL...some seem to think Clement is mentally soft, which is supposedly why the yanks have had little interest in him. How they determine such things is a mystery as their track record is quite bad lately (Weaver, Vazquez). Guess they need a new Magic 8-ball.
It woul dnot be a bad thing if the Wright deal fell through, though it might guarnantee we see Milton, who makes Wright look like Cy Young.

Dear lord, could you please shut the **** up about Vazquez and Weaver for one single post. Vaz had an awesome 1st half if you remember; its not the pressure that got to him.
I do agree that Wright failing may be a good thing and also think Milton is a bad choice. I personally would very much like to see Odalis in a Yankee uniform.

Vaz has ridiculous talent (I actually had him winning the Cy Yound last year). He was a strikeout machine back with the Expos. It is the mentality that ruined him. Weaver is one of my favorite pitchers and it shows that he has some talent sinse his record significantly improved after leaving the Yankees.
Milton and Wright are both mediocre and I have a sneaky suspicion theres some conspiracy by Cashman to ruin George sinse George has been threatening to fire Cashman for some time now.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
