Hey Bitter,
I have often pulled my sister's laptop into the crappy when playing poker but that helps me none when I am in my domain. But I am a couple years aways from a new computer. Joe

Since you're the expert on the Prospectus around here I've got a quick question. I saw
Baseball America 2005 Prospect Handbook when I was looking for the Prospectus on Amazon and wondered if you'd ever tried it before? It seems like it would be just as helpful as the Prospectus.

I am sure there are some niche Fantasy periodicals around filled with stat-head Jamesian geek writers giving you statistical drivel that will lead to conclusions like who needs a closer and Ks do not matter....but you can gather my opinion on them already.
There's a difference between "baseball analysis" and "fantasy analysis". It also helps to get the information right. SDCN didn't say closers and Ks don't matter. They said closers are overvalued and Ks are no worse than any other out, but they are revealing about a player's development.
I need a Fantasy stathead "expert" to tell me that for fantasy purposes K's are no worse than any other out? Wow. Worth the price of the subscription without a doubt.
Or that closer's are over-valued in 5x5 (I presume)?...stunning...doesn't every 2nd year fantasy player with an 3 digit IQ know that? You need to run statisical analysis to come to these conclusions?
It's ok for people to dislike or disagree with something, but you always seem to be so negative, and namecall. Many people have the same regard for fantasy, as you do for sabermetrics. They both are great. Why set up barriers? Tear them down and expand your horizens.
