I wanted to make a Avatar. What kind of program allow you to design one thats cool. Rather than using paint or something like that

<------ this bad boy was done using paint. And of course some help from wrveres to fix it up so it didn't look like an amateur (me) made it :-D

As you can tell from my sig I have no clue how to make graphics but I hear photoshop is the way to go. There is a forum here where you can ask somebody else if they can make one for you.

Does anyone the requirement sfor the pixel size to be legit for upload

They can be up to 80x80 and can't be larger than 6K.
