One signing we overlooked here at the cafe...

Was Matt Mantei. He signed for less than a mil with the red sox.

I thought that to be important because he could step right in IF HEALTHY and that's a big if, but he could be great for holds, as an elite setup man. Any thoughts guys? This may be the most underrated one of the offseason.

i thought mantei was a good signing for the money. He's obviously got talent, but i dont think he is going to be an elite setup man. IF your league values holds, he's a decent late risk, but i wouldnt touch him with a 40 ft pole after last season's debacle :-P

it should be noted that i took him last year in our cafe keeper league in hopes of around 30 saves. Needless to say, im a little bit biased

Mantei, Macdougal and Baez looked like good value at the time :,-(
