Hats off to anyone that the balls to say what he does!
NO. You do not take your hat off to someone simply because they "speak their mind". In that sence, do you take your hat off to Hitler? How about David Koresh? Those guys had no problem speaking their mind - do you take your hat off to them too?

Is this Steve Reed we're talking to?
But come on man - you think what he said is OK?
If you want to appreciate people speaking their mind, OK. But to agree with what's on this guy's mind - wow. I wonder if Rocker has a thought process or if he just thinks out loud. Good thing he wasn't a good pitcher or this might have put a kink in his career

I am not saying racism is cool. I said I like the fact that he has the balls to admit his feelings. Better than those people out there that are racist and act like the are not.

I dont like the racist part of his comments
Just like Rocker I think you probably should have kept your comments to yourself.
However no one was more feared on the field a few years back than him, so maybe he could make it back, but it wasn't a good start.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Also he only said he didn't like foreigners. Nationality isn't a race. Not liking that people come into your country and don't know how to speak your language or have a different culture is a whole lot different that not liking them because of their race. They're both wrong and ignorant, however. And he's a hypocrite for playing in Venezuela while presumably he only knows how to speak english (and he's probably not very good at that, either ).
