JD Drew Snubbed the Braves

i hope they do get Millwood back. It would be good for both of them. Millwood could revamp himself and we sure could use his skills

Personally, I think $8M is too much for Drew. His track record is injury, injury, injury. It's not like Shef, where he had a pretty decent career before signing with the Braves. And even he had an injury that first year with the Braves.

I think signing him to more than $8 mil is a waste of money. He's worth about as much as Dye will get in my book. So let some other team overpay. And I hope it is not the Mets.

If he repeated this year's result in 2005, imagine the salary he WOULD be able to command. It would probably be more than $12M.
