I second that....How can you not like pink floyd...they have the most original music rock has ever seen...well other then zappa..but its more listenable then zappa...FLOYD in final round

Because they are legendary. I'm not that big of a Beatles fan but I can appreciate what they did for R&R.

I think the only real stumbling block for Floyd will be The Who. At least that's the only band I'd vote for over Floyd before the finals.

The who are kinda cheasey and not nearly as talented as floyd

Well, that's an opinion. My opinion is that Floyd is kind of a one-trick pony. Sure, what they did was innovative and interesting, but it gets kind of old. I can listen to Wish You Were Here most any time, but I really have to be in a good mood to put up with The Wall. It just got tiresome, you know?

On a side note, I don't know if you've ever heard any of Syd's solo stuff, but it's fantastic and very Beatlesesque. I've got a couple of his LPs and played them all the time until my record player died a couple of weeks ago.
