Another Keeper league question...

Postby cannonarm21 » Wed Dec 08, 2004 1:59 pm

Do any of you know of a good site where I could run a keeper league? I'd like a place where people have access year round to keep it active. I do a football league at http://www.antsports.com that works awesome.

Thanks in advance for any input!

i'm in the same boat. We used Yahoo plus which doesn't support keeper leagues and i'm actively shopping for a place to house our league for next year. I've heard that Sandbox is good and i've heard good things about TQStats.com but that's second hand and not from experience.

my friends and i have used cbs sportsline the last couple of years. you have to enter the teams in each year, but you can look at the standings and stats for previous years for all teams, which is cool.

you can also personalize the site to your liking...even write stories and put a pic with a caption on the homepage, so that whenever anyone goes to the site, your story and pic/caption are there. if you are an idiot like my friends and i, then this feature and others make it worth the $130 or so per year.

I would bet a lot of money that Yahoo offers a keeper and a salary capability as part of its premium package this year. If you look at how Yahoo has involved, they have basically improved the product only when forced by competitors, and it is looking like they had better offer this to keep competitive.

I thought ESPN had keeper leagues as well. I know Sportsline does.
