Hi @all,

I`m just new with this, so perhaps you can give me some advice with my team:

C Mayne, Brent (C-KC)
C Alomar Jr., Sandy (C-CWS)
1B Sweeney, Mike (1B, DH-KC)
2B Durham, Ray (2B, DH-SF)
3B Lowell, Mike (3B-Fla)
SS Aurilia, Rich (SS-SF)
OF Millar, Kevin (LF, RF-Bos)
OF Salmon, Tim (RF, DH-Ana)
OF Payton, Jay (CF, LF-Col)
Util Fullmer, Brad (DH, 1B-Ana)
Bench Pierre, Juan (CF-Fla)
Bench Walker, Larry (RF-Col)
Bench Clayton, Royce (SS-Mil)
Bench Pujols, Albert (LF, 3B, 1B-StL)
DL Giles, BrianDL (LF-Pit)
DL Griffey Jr., KenDL

Pitching:

SP Vazquez, Javier (SP-Mon)
SP Clemens, Roger (SP-NYY)
SP Colon, Bartolo (SP-CWS)
SP Padilla, Vicente (SP-Phi)
SP Wolf, Randy (SP-Phi)
RP Benitez, Armando (RP-NYM)
P Wells, David (SP-NYY)
P Glavine, Tom (SP-NYM)
P Washburn, Jarrod (SP-Ana)
Bench Perez, Odalis (SP-LA)
Bench Zambrano, Carlos (RP, SP-ChC)

I know I don`t have many homerunhitters and also many relievers but there are no good ones available right now.

I´m thinking of kicking washburn and perez, what do you think?
If you have some other advice, let me know.

THX for your help and greetings from Berlin/Germany

I'd hold on to Washburn, he's a young pitcher with potential. If you have to part with perez, so be it. You pitching is solid, I like you starters. You may need to upgrade your outfield as I don't expect Millar to keep up his torrid pace. Overall though, I like you team and I wouldn't mess with your picting staff unless a golden opportunity arrises.

thx for your hints. I think i will wait a little until i change something of my pitching staff. Maybe i need some relievers but there are no good ones to find in my league, cause some of the guys in my league are spezialised on relievers.
You think Millar won`t do it? Why that? Ok, he`s not on the bench, cause pujols will only pinchhit for three weeks.

Right now j.t. snow is free agent and i`m thinking of taking him. Good idea?

On taking Snow

Postby Chris_Compton_WX » Thu Apr 24, 2003 8:14 am

I would definitely consider picking up Snow, if you haven't done so already. I picked him up early on, and he has paid big dividends for me in the RBI department. His average is good too. If there are no other "power" 1B available, Snow is easily the best bet. Hope this helps.
