I was expecting Nomar to work for a 3-4 year contract. I guess he is trying the I-Rod method and signing for 1 year to prove himself so he can receive a bigger contract next year. I say this is a good signing for the Cubs...at least short term.

great move by the cubbies.... a healthy nomar for a full season will greatly help their chances of getting to the playoffs...... it will still be interesting to see how much money nomar ends up losing for not signing that 60 million dollar contract when it was out there.......

No way Sosa bats 3rd unless he proves himself all over again this year. ARam will probably bat 3rd and the LF or Lee will probably bat 4th. Of course this is just my guess. Walker is a f/a but we are getting pretty close to signing him...
