I was expecting Nomar to work for a 3-4 year contract. I guess he is trying the I-Rod method and signing for 1 year to prove himself so he can receive a bigger contract next year. I say this is a good signing for the Cubs...at least short term.

So what is the line-up for the Cubbies?
1. Patterson (CF)
2. Garciaparra (SS)
3. Sosa (RF)
4. D. Lee (1B)
5. A. Ramirez (3B)
6. ??? (LF)
7. T. Walker? (2B)
8. Barrett (C)
9. Pitcher (P)
So who is going to play LF since Alou is outta here? Will theye really deal Sosa for Floyd???
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong
