Wkelly at Kent State?! Ok, ok, no politics in here...
Looks like a landslide (Speaking of which, where's Fleetwood Mac in all this? )
Yea I was there from 1976 to 1978...so was Drew Carey
In 1978 the School in it's widom started to build a gym on the site where some of the students were shot (right outside my dorm)
Hippies from all over the country came in and erected a tent city, demanding that they name a building for every student that died. Joan Baez was singing there. CSN were blasting from speakers all over campus "Four dead in Ohio".
They brought in riot police and were shooting tear gas at students....It was crazy fun

Damn you're old!
btw - it's CSNY. Neil Young wrote Ohio over the weekend after the shootings. He brought Crosby Stills and Nash along for the ride. Those deadbeats and Buffalo Springfield owe their careers to Neil Young (keep on rockin in a free world Neil!).

While I don't like it too much, that happens when a much older song is redone and picked up by the younger crowds.

No one knows what it's like to be the bad man To be the sad man behind blue eyes No one knows what it's like to be hated, To be fated to telling only lies.
But my dreams, they aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance that's never free
No one knows what it's like to feel these feelings Like I do and I blame you No one bites back as hard on their anger None of my pain and woe can show through
But my dreams, they aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance that's never free Mmmm...
When my fist clenches crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool
And if I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat And if I shiver please give me a blanket Keep me warm let me wear your coat
No one knows what it's like to be the bad man To be the sad man, behind blue eyes
