I met a kid who thought Limp Bizkit wrote "Behind Blue Eyes." I hate it when new bands cover old songs and stupid people today think they wrote it themselves.

Not to hijack but has anyone heard A Perfect Circle's remake of Imagine? :-P I don't mind remakes but this version is awful.

Tough call.
Im going with the Doobie Brothers since they are on of my wife's favorites and we've seen them a couple times in concert.
The Who, on the other hand, are one of those bands I grew up listening to. Baba O'riley has to be one of my alltime favorite songs:

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye
It's only teenage wasteland

Damn... now I wish I would have voted for the Who... Tough call...

Thank you. I can't stand it when the new "bands" do that. I guess their music sucks so bad they have to ruin all the good stuff too. :-t

As for this one, The Who all the way. Teenage Wasteland, Pinball Wizard, Squeezbox, Behind Blue Eyes? Can't beat that. ;-D Listen to the Music and some others are really good, but not good enough to pull it out for the Doobies.

Not a contest, to me anyhow.

Doobie's have some good records but The Who gets the nod here.
