It's going to take quite a bit to get out from under that contract IMO. Unless they deal him and eat the contract I don't see him going anywhere personally.

I don't want Sheff either. It was stupid to sign him over Vlad in the first place. I've said that from the beginning.

sheff put up near mvp numbers last year injured...

vlad would have been a great signing but you really cant put sheffield down as a failure...hes been terrific and will be even better this year, fully healthy. hes a warrior, what more can you ask for.

as far as giambi...he didnt suck sunday night vs boston
