If he keeps hitting 88-89 on his fastball like he did last night...I say dud.

There was a LOT of hype about Foppert during pre-season. A lot of analysts I saw considered him the best pitching prospect in baseball. I have to disagree and give that honor to Harden. I think Foppert is more along the lines of Brett Myers. Except some good games and some bad ones as long as he's up in the bigs this year. He might be a lot better next year.

I picked him up yesterday in anticipation of hype fulfilled. I have since sent him back to the WW for more seasoning.

I now call him "Jesse Floppert"

(although I still hope he makes a great return so I can try again!)
