well the thinking is that with RJ being older, costing more money, and having limited options due to the no trade clause he would cost less than hudson in terms of prospects. i still think its a pipe dream. walt is probably just inquiring to see how much the price has dropped since the yankees supposedly pulled out of the running.

i could live with polanco or lugo at ss if it meant an improvement in the starting rotation.

I'm still not really seeing it happen either since someone lke the White Sox, Yanks (I'm convinced that was a ploy by George, he wants RJ) or someone will be willing to give AZ what they want. I'd be fine with Polanco/Lugo at SS if that means improving the staff, no question.
