There are alot of forms of roids, i'm not sure which one is which. There is also creatine which is legal. I should make something clear for eveyrone
I'm not childish for hoping that nothing will happen to the big 3. I against this find becuase it will ruin baseball, not just Bonds/Sheff/Giambi. for those who disagree, unplug your years and listn to the radio talk shows, espn and not the sound of your own voice.
Do you guys think that it will stop with these 3... even if they are found gulity? You'd be childish to think so.
Agent Arn Tellem released a statement Monday professing that Jason Giambi has every intention of returning to the Yankees for 2005. Even though the Yankees are pessimistic that they'll have any luck voiding Giambi's deal, they haven't issued any statements supporting their first baseman. They could try working out a buyout even if it means paying Giambi more than half of the $82 million he's still owed. If it happens, speculation is that Giambi could return to Oakland to attempt to put his career back together. Dec. 6 - 11:51 pm et Source: Newsday
I don't know if I want him back in Oakland, but I guess if he is cheap enough
I find it absolutely disgusting that the Yankees organization and their fans are so freaking adamant about getting rid of Giambi, but are perfectly content with keeping Gary Sheffield.
Giambi is getting paid way too much, and they want Sheff's contract. Can you blame them? Doesn't disgust me at all, they're doing what's good for business. However there should be rules so that Sheff is suspended for a year and then maybe they'd change their mind about not wanting to void his contract.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

I agree. Yankee fans -- and most NY fans in general -- are the worst on the planet. They will put Sheffield on a pedestal as long as he's performing, but if he starts to slip it will be the "it was the steroids, he's a bum, get rid of him" thing that Giambi's getting now.
In response to lesgrant's comments I completely agree. What makes me think that the story is true even more than I already did is that he hasn't done anything to try to discredit it. He sends his lawyers out there to say "he's done nothing illegal" and technically they are right I guess. It would really send a strong message to me, the Chronicle, baseball fans, and America in general if he would file a lawsuit or something to that effect. I realize there are far reaching implications to such action so that it wouldn't accomlplish anything, but his relative silence on the issure speaks volumes and solidifies my opinion even moreso than it was before. His legacy appears to be a major motivation to him, and I can't believe he would allow that to be tarnished as it has and forever will be if he was truly innocent.

I don't if the fans are disgusting but I agree about the organization. Dan Patrick summed it up nicely: the Yankees are not mad that Giambi took steroids they're mad that he stopped taking them or more specifically that his production dropped. If Giambi admitted to taking steroids but was still knocking the snot out of the ball the Yankees would have held a press conference supporting him.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Oh c'mon cut me some slack here. How many times have you been to NY? Half my family are Yankees fans and they're not that bad, really. Well, sometimes...

OK, I guess Mets fans shouldn't be lumped in with the rest of them. At least they've got an excuse.

Although I'm not fond of any New York fan, in my own defense and lack of desire for drama I didn't call the fans disgusting, but rather the fact that they are seemingly ignoring Sheffield and targeting Giambi.
Lack of desire for drama... too funny. I thought that was the only reason you posted here.

Obviously they are targeting Giambi. They've been waiting for an oppurtunity to dump Giambi, it just so happens that this is it. They are thinking about it from a business decision. Giambi has been a huge bust, and there's now a way to sneak out of his contract. Not, whiny, not disgusting, just smart business.
