I'm not surprised he juiced.

I am surprised twice in that he admitted to it in the first place and then later contradicted himself when he had to know there was a chance it could get out.

Even though he didnt implicate Bonds, I'm going to take a wild guess as to what this thread gets hijacked into................................

No proof, no punishment. It's not official, it's a sealed court document. Unless he fails 2 drug tests by MLB he isn't subject to punishment I believe.

It was all in the past. When Giambi admitted to using steroids, they were perfectly legal in Major League Baseball. Also, by testifying in front of the grand jury, Giambi was granted immunity from prosecution...so he won't have any punishments whatsoever, in the baseball world, or in the real world.

He just has a tarnished reputation now.

Well at least it's official now. The Bonds saga will continue, but at least Sheff and Giambi have now admitted to it.

I won't get into the whole Bonds thing because quite frankly I don't know the answer, but since I'm sure that's where this thread will wind up, let's just remember to play nice. :-)

Is anyone left that was defending him last year around the time of the tumor thing?
