Rangers signed catcher Robert Machado to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Machado spent most of last season in the majors with the Orioles and hit .151/.195/.233 in 73 AB. He'll enter spring training no higher than third on the Rangers' depth chart. Nov. 30 - 5:53 pm et

At least the odds are that he won't play. Just a third stringer for emergency purposes.

Now maybe they will take care of the starting pitching.
