he just blew another save, any idea if he'll be replaced. He just isn't the same this year as years past. Maybe Rhodes or Nelson will be given a shot...

It's still early, but I'd go ahead and dump him.

I have him and Baez. Combined ERA for the night somwhere around 140 I think. Fantastic. Sasaki has looked horrible so far, but who hasn't? Way too early to quit on him.

i don't have sasaki on any of my teams, i just wanted to know who would get saves if he loses the job. I'd guess Rhodes and Nelson would split opportunites based on matchups.

Sasaki has been hurt by some pretty shoddy fielding at 3B by McLemore and Cirillo, making errors or misplaying third-out grounders and allowing tying or winning runs to score. I wouldn't dump him yet; maybe sit him down for a bit, let him watch a couple of games to get his head together. He did leave last night's game with back tightness, though, but I'm not sure if Rhodes or Nelson is the more likely replacement if he can't go. Anyone??

Sasaki is not going anywhere according to Bob Melvin. He says he is prepared to deal with Sasaki's ups and downs.
This is so far turning out to be an exceptionally bad year for closers and Sasaki is still a better option than most others.
