my friend (a wishwashy yanks fan) told me this morning that the yanks had signed tejada. He said he had read it online in a study hall. I have been searhing several sites to see if this had any validity and havent found anyhting. just wondering, has anyone else heard anything abouit this or was he just trying to pull a fast one by me?

i believe Tejada signed a long-term contract with the O's, so he's locked up for a few years at least.
i haven't heard of any Tejada trade talks, and there probably shouldn't be.
i heard rumors of Nomar possibly going to the yanks but that's never going to happen.

That would be great for his fantasy value. 2B eligibilty would put him in the top 5! Maybe they'll sign Nomar to play 1B.

The Yankees signed an infielder named Ferndin Tejeda. I don't know anything about him other than his minor league numbers look bad and he's 22.

Tejada isn't going ANYWHERE.....I'd be the first one outside of Jim's house demanding his wife and daughters as retribution, if Tejada was traded to the Yankees. :-b
