I'd think so. I doubt they are paying him $7 per to set up for Herges.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Sportsline is reporting that Benitez's contract is heavily backloaded, as is Vizquel's.
That pretty much means that the Giants aren't done yet this offseason. I think penny pincher Magowan has come to his senses and has realized that this could probably be the last year that we see of the typical Bonds' greatness. Which means this year is their last shot to win it all for a while.
Just give me a mediocre bat and someone to get the ball to Benitez and the Giants should be the favorites to win the NL West
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I like this signing.....the Giants are getting the lead on the market now. If only they would sign at least a decent bat to help protect Barry, they'd definitely be the favorite in that weak division....though I'd probably consider them the favorite already.

Werent you the one that said Vizquel was making Less in his 3rd year? that my friend is not "backloaded"
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong
