What can we expect out him next season? Can he raise his average? Will he be better than Geoff Jenkins?

Wilkerson is a tough guy to pin. He's a leadoff first baseman, but his average is low. I'd say he'll mirror last years numbers, except maybe an increase in average and decrease in strikeouts.

20/20 is almost a lock, great OBP, but his AVG will look about the same, .250-.270

Other than the average, he put up some very nice numbers on a pathetic team.

the expos named him player of the year ;-D

i'm not entirely sure this award means much :-b

anyhoo. i can't stand players with low avg, but like the others have said, his overall numbers are not bad. he was 7th last year in BBs and that's great for a leadoff man, consequently he scored a bunch of runs, even playing for the expos. i don't expect his avg to change much, so i'd say he's good for 110/30/75/260 pretty close to last year's numbers.

but i'm not sure if 20/20 is a lock
