Good point....the reason I have him ranked a bit lower is because he is 41 years old. I realize that he pitched very well last season at this advanced age, but there aren't many pitchers who do this well into their 40's. Knocking him down a few spots is merely a method of hedging.

Same reason for me. I'd rather go with the younger player. With any of the three you will be alright.

Don't have my SP rankings done yet (still finishing the hitters.... takes a while going 1 by 1) but my #1 SP is Prior, not Santana. Santana is #2 though. Just thought I'd throw that out there. In a couple weeks all my rankings should be done.

santana may end up #1 sp, but i believe prior will bring better value. santana will go to high for my tastes, and prior will probably drop a little compared to last years draft spot.

Are you all really that sold on Sheets? I know he had decent numbers last year but The Brewers offense in a word....YUCK!

Am I off base. :-?

I'm not that sold on Sheets either. I think he's a great pitcher, but pitching for Milwaukee I've barely got him in the top ten. I think you also have to be a little concerned about his workload. He's logged almost 700 innings in the last 3 yrs

If you look at my first post, I prefaced my rankings with the fact that I didn't include Wins projections.....so the Brewers offense is quite irrelevant here. However, when it gets closer to the season and I'm forced to include Wins (I wish they weren't a fantasy category, but oh well) in my rankings, I'm sure Sheets will have to be knocked down a bit.
