i wanted to put him on my list (nice list fat guy) .. it depends if he continues to bounce back from elbow surgery, which maybe he did already.. he missed time, but his #'s in double A kicked ass

3.03 era .. 74.1 ip .. 62h .. 13bb .. 102k

i know Beane asked for him instead of Kiko Calero in the Mulder trade.. and im pretty sure the Dbacks asked for him during RJ talks, but i guesss they refused to let him go... i heard he's a really hard worker, and he used to pitch with Prior for USC so that can't hurt either

Delmon I doubt will get any at all, maybe a September call up. Hernandez could possibly be called up at the all-star break but I wouldn't count on it.

BA doesn't even name Andy Marte the #1 prospect in Atlanta's system. They gave that honor to Francouer (sp?). I love the guys and have him on my team. But, does anyone care to comment why he may not be the #1 prospect in Atlanta's system and #3 on a number of people's overall lists?

i dont understand what BA is thinking here, maybe they were influenced by the fact that Schuerholtz stated in a press conference that they would take a serious look at Francouer during spring training regarding their OF situation. marte is a better prospect than francouer IMO and will play in atlanta this season.

i dont get it either.. i honestly think BA is going with star power. Francouer is a great prospect and could be a really great hitter, but he has pretty boy and team player written all over him. He's probly the Derek Jeter and Marte is the Bernie Williams. i read somewhere that Marte can do everything a little better - hit, run, hit for power, produce runs, ect... (Marte 40hr - Francouer 30hr). BA is great for info, but theyre not the "be all end all" for prospects anyway, so whatever.. its tough to say when either will get called up since theyre both coming off injury plagued seasons, i guess if everything goes ok in AA they'll move faster

Delmon and Felix i think will get late call-ups and do good.... for immediate fantasy value i like Mcpherson, Kazmir, Jeff Francis, Joe Blanton, Dan Meyer, Jose Lopez, Clint Barmes, Scott Hairston, Jesse Crain (full-time jobs)
