Turning projections into player rankings

Postby auclairkeithbc » Wed Nov 24, 2004 4:57 pm

I was wondering if anyone had a simple way of doing this...or a complicated one you'd be willing to share.

I am playing in a 10 team 5X5 league with 14 hitters and 9 pitchers.

I have tried to figure out the relative values of the categories before using expected totals in those categories, but it was a very amateur effort.

Thanks,
Keith

I usually do a normal distribution for each category for every player. I then average these out to get a player's overall value. It is pretty easy to do on excel. Let me know if you need any help.
