Back to the original post, yeah cbs.sportsline.com did goof, the Pirates' lineup didn't have Jack Wilson batting cleanup. The lineup started with Lofton, Kendall, Stairs...

I watched the game and Foppert wasn't real sharp with his control in the first, when he gave up all 5 runs, but he settled down after that. I wouldn't be too down on him just yet.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'
