I'll call for Pat Burrell to break out with 48 HR. He should be more relaxed without Bowa around.
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

He'd have to switch to RF then...I don't know if a veteran is willing to do that all the time. :-?

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I don't see how you can put Sexson in the top 10 without seeing him play after surgery or knowing what team hes playing on... :-?

I know it's a reach but I personally think Sexson will hit even more HR if he cuts his stroke back a bit. I'm doubtful he'll sign back here (AZ) but if he does return to the Bob and is fully healed, I'd put him #1. I know hardly anyone will agree, but I personally had Sexson as the HR crown frontrunner going into 2004. Playing in nice weather out the gate, having TWO of the very best HR parks in his DIV (including his home park) led me to think he'd win the crown last year. That injury surely caught me and everyone else by suprise (Sexson had never been DLed in his career plus he took the very same pitcher he was injured against 500'+ off the scoreboard just a night or 2 earlier). Look at his stats for the 22 games he played last spring (left after 1 check swing in 23rd) it translates to over 66 HR for a full season. I know both are big ifs, especially Sexson resigning here, and that's why I DROPPED him to 5th.

I agree Sexson has ridiculous power but he will almost definetly not resign with Arizona, he will end up with the Mets who have a ballpark that...well...doesn't like HRs.

His height doesn't help his strike zone either.

The thing is who's to say what kind of health he has now? I am usually very concerned about players after surgery, especially season ending surgery.
