It was brought up in another thread that Ortiz played over 30 games at 1B last year. I should have made sure he only qualified at DH myself instead of taking someone else's word for it. Anyway I will slip Ortiz in right after Helton and before Thome

I haven't seen Casey Kotchman mentioned, what does everyone expect from him in the next 1 to 3 years?

.980+ OPS at all three levels.
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

That is, .980+ OPS at all three levels in the minors.

That looks pretty good to me. Pujols and Helton are definately first and second but from there it gets a little tough. Overall, I think I'm more bullish on Delgado than most fantasy owners. He was a monster in 2003 and the second half of 2004.

I would wait to see where he ends up. If he goes to a good team with a good hitters park, I might rank him as high as #3 for 1B. On the other hand, if he goes to a good pitchers park and/or a team that's not gonna put guys on base, he'll slide down the rankings.

In the interests of full disclosure, Delgado is one of my keepers so I may be biased. But I kept him for a reason. ;-)

I expect him to start the year in Salt Lake to tell you the truth. I haven't seen anything to that effect, but I doubt he'll be up until Erstad gets injured. I haven't seen anything to that effect though.
