Why is Pierzynski so low or unranked on all those lists? Something I don't know about going on?

I would also consider Schneider of the former Expos along with some of the 15-20 guys. Supposedly Boston was told he was untouchable when Epstein enquired, always a good sign.

Inge is interesting but I don't know how much he will play. Same with LeCroy. Does anyone know of any players eligible at C that are going to be playing another position? Besides Piazza.

More than likely Inge will get a solid number of plate appearances - unless Detroit makes a move for a CF, Inge will rotate from C to 3B to OF. Non fantasy wise - how much is a guy like this worth to a team? I say pay whatever you have to to keep him, a good utility man is damn near priceless.

I heard rumors about Detroit going after Finley and Glaus. Inge will probally move up my list once we know a little more about his playing time.

Schneider's 'untouchability' has nothing to do with his ability to hit. He threw out the highest percentage of basestealers in the majors last year, and is valued for his defense. I guesss his offensive skills could improve as he progresses but I see him more in the Matheny mold.

I can't believe I forgot about AJ, Estrada and Schneider!! I had Estrada most of last season in my main league and he was outstanding for me. How could I...? I would rank these guys higher than the last three or four on my list. Sorry!

I know some may laugh but what about Greg Zaun? Check out his numbers. He had a pretty nice season for the short time he was playing. And now has earned himself a nice pay day the FA year.
