Pedro better be serious cause I don't think the Sox are going to up their offer much if at all.

Took the words right out of my mouth. It better not just be a ploy to get Boston to pay up, because I think they should (and probably will) let him walk if he doesn't take what's on the table right now.

This is just Pedro being Pedro IMO...he'll be with Boston if he has any common sense whatsoever. That offer is incredible considering the poor season he had.

Agreed on all points.

If he wants to play games, let him walk and sign with NY. Then the Sox should sign Pavano and do what it takes to get Hudson or Zito (preferably Hudson).

All Yankee fans keep saying that, but if he's in pinstripes next year and takes you to the promised land again I imagine most will be changing their tune. ;-7

I'm in agreeance with you here. Pedro will help a club win ball games, without a doubt. What club he'll help is another matter.

Steinbrenner adores Pedro. Chances are he'll have him all neat and tidy and emotionless by Opening Day.

I don't want Pedro. Send him somewhere else. But obviously if he came here I'd have to root for him.
