I don't know about the chances of him going any of these places, but I've heard rumors about SF, Houston, Cubs, Yanks and Sox of course. I know I'm missing some, but those are the ones I've heard so far.

I'm pretty sure the Mets will make a bid for him too.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

No Mets. I like Mags and even have him in one keeper league. Shea is where good players go to die.

Especially hitters. If Maggs was smart he'd go to a team with a hitter's park much like Chicago. Cubs may have a pretty empty outfield soon.

I think the Orioles might get involved too.

Chicago Sun Times Nov. 11
The New York Mets have been one of the most aggressive teams at the GM meetings inquiring about Ordonez, who last summer rated the Mets and Cubs among the top teams on his wish list.
