Coleman got hurt because he had his back to the tarp and the field crew wasn't paying attention. By the time anyone saw him, it was too late. A role of tarp has quite a good amount of inertia. It hit him and turned his ankle something fierce.

The Cards went on to get Dienkengered (sp?) and Saberhagened in that Series. A lot of bad luck that year...

They were beaten by a team of destiny.


Jose Cardenal had a few really funny ones, I think guy just didn't want to play. He missed a game once because thought his eyes were stuck open. Wish I could remember some of the others, they were all really lame.

If you're asking if he's going put up the same season stats as 2004 or having the same dollar value, then the answer is no. If you're asking if you can "count on" him producing as well as he did before the injury, then the answer is no. That possibility exists, but it's far from being something you can count on.
