A few people here might remember an incident I had like this last year, while I was in the Cafe chat room. I still have a scar from that, and it took over a month to heal.
Also, Keyshawn Johnson dislocated his shoulder high-fiving Craig T Nelson on "Coach". It wasn't real, but hey, it fits in here
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
After seeing this topic being brought up, I was wondering if anyone was going to mention Corsi... He wasnt out that long but really he slipped trying to get out of the shower
Both Smoltz and Lew Ford tried to iron their shirts while they were wearing them.
And I can't believe no one has mentioned J.D. Drew. Slept on his neck wrong, strained his neck swimming in his neighbor's pond and my personal favorite, sprained his ankle walking into the dugout.
i wanted to know if players who get injured in the offseason can put up the same numbers as the year before? Can i expect the same production out of Lance Berkman next year?

I think that depends on the severity of the injury. A knee injury is pretty serious, so I wouldn't expect the kind of numbers he put up this year, at least the first few months of the season.

Coleman got hurt because he had his back to the tarp and the field crew wasn't paying attention. By the time anyone saw him, it was too late. A role of tarp has quite a good amount of inertia. It hit him and turned his ankle something fierce.
The Cards went on to get Dienkengered (sp?) and Saberhagened in that Series. A lot of bad luck that year...
