Ok heres JRM's:

What do you mean the chicken crossed the road. Wheres your proof I think its a stupid idea that we should dumb down this joke by assuming that the chicken is crossing the road when it's probably just left wing propaganda. In fact the reason the chicken is crossing the road is probably to stay away from Michael Moore because his fat trader ass is trying to eat the chicken or at least make it look the chicken is crossing the road to get to an oil field or something when really what happened is that the chicken was taken out of context and Moore edited the film to make it look like he was crossing the road. Look it uP!
