What Is The Head-to-Head World Series?

The Head-to-Head World Series group’s competitive fantasy sports enthusiasts from around the globe together in yearly tournaments, based solely upon their individual geographic regions. Each new season, the regional winners from each of our tournaments advances to face the regional winners from the other locations around the world. This is completed via a series of three geographically based tournaments.

They begin with our Regional Tournaments, which are commonly referred to as the State Tournaments. The winners there advance to face off against the other Regional winners in one of our National Tournaments. Then those league winners from each of the National Tournaments, square off in our ultimate yearly championship game we like to call ... the Head-to-Head World Series.

Tournaments

Think of it as a three-tiered championship.
There are three basic types or tournaments:

1- The International Tournament or Head-to-Head World Series
2- The National Tournaments
3- The State or Regional Tournaments

H2H World Series

Now, each tournament is only played with a minimum of eight (8) players and up to a maximum of sixteen (16) players per region. Each tournament is only played with an even number of players, to ensure balance. If any tournament ends up with an odd number of owners going into any given season, The H2HWS Commishes will create a dummy team for that league. (See the dummy teams section in our Rules). Tournaments with less than eight (8) players per state will be grouped together for an official "mutt" type league for that season and their winning percentage is taken in account when scheduling for the next season

Team Names

We do have a few restrictions on your team name. In order to help build healthy regional competition, and maybe create rivalries, your team name must always represent your current home region, state or country. Example: If you happen to reside in Chicago, your team name would then be the Chicago (whatevers) If you were representing Illinois in one of the National Tournaments, your team name would be the Illinois or USA (whatevers). City or community names are ok too. Have some fun with it.

We truly look forward to having you,
Thank you and best of luck in 2007

We are just setting up an Olympics so to speak of H2H fantasy baseball. Country vs Country, State vs State and in areas where we have enough interest ... City vs City.

No fees, just fun.
